Forced labor at Qatar World Cup sites: Amnesty

Migrant workers building a stadium for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar "have suffered systematic abuses, in some cases forced labor," a new report from Amnesty International claims.

The report, titled "The ugly side of the beautiful game: Exploitation on a Qatar 2022 World Cup site", paints a damning picture of conditions for migrant laborers.

Having spent a fair amount of time in Dubai....quite similar to Qatar in most ways...I’ve seen (from a distance) what their immigrant workers endure and it doesn’t look pretty.But in defense of their labor policies these immigrants (mainly from Pakistan,India and Bangladesh) are almost certainly much better off in Dubai than in their home countries.

This is precisely WHY our foreign policy should be dictated upon HOW a country treats it’s citizens and not because they are in a “strategic location”...

All the countries in that area do this ,they have to import slaves because the locals are too stupid to do the work
