A couple of conservative principles that deserve a hearing, are the principles that laws have to be both passable (by legislature) and enforceable (by the police powers of the state.)
A proposed law that finds aborting women guilty of homicide, is guaranteed neither passable nor enforceable.
In practical fact, pre-Roe vs Wade, prosecutions of abortionists were usually triggered by the appearance of an injured abortion client in the ER. Her testimony was usually the key to obtaining a conviction.
I don’t think any abortionist will ever be convicted -— ever -— if the woman is not seen, in law and in practice, as a co-victim rather than a perp.
So what?
She is the person who hired the murderer. She is more guilty.
