I looked but I could not find the press release from these people asking Cruz to dump Glenn Beck after he threatened to stab Donald Trump.

If they can finagle a way, by hook or by crook, to get Trump to “cave” and knuckle under, even on the most petty, most nitpicking issue such as this, the bloodthirsty libs will use that to hammer him into oblivion.
Trump’s only workable path, IMHO, is to stay the course; keep on the path that has gotten him this far, and trust that his supporters will see this for the chicken $#!t trick that it is, and continue to stick with him and vote for him.
I believe the same about the drive to browbeat Trump into “acting presidential”. I believe that, should Trump suddenly turn mellow and cease his hard-charging campaign, the bastards would use THAT to begin accusing him of going soft, of chickening out; you name it.
I say, damn the torpedos; keep the pedal to the metal, and devil take the hindmost. And if it turns out that the voters have actually been pussified to the point of abandoning him over something like this; the country was too far gone, anyhow.
