Microsoft’s push to Windows 10 has pushed me completely over to Linux. My computer works faster. I’ve discovered I can work with the latest version of Fedora without making any compromises in terms of hardware or application software. The user interface has markedly improved over the years, as well.

Me too- linux mint is now my operating system for onlien work
If you find you need windows for things like games or software like photoshop, you could dual boot and not allow windows 10 to access INTERNET- and you can download windows .iso 10 for free and use for free- I prefer runnign it in dual boot as opposed to virtual machine- in a VM programs run too slow in my opinion)

Me, too. I decided not install Microsoft's spyware program and go Linux. I installed Mint, and with the exception of a few drivers I have to switch to Windows 7 for (infrequently), I haven't looked back. I only miss having Microsoft Office to work with (Libre doesn't do it for me because Office is our corporate program), but there's still the online version of 365 that works for most things.
OK, dumb question here, if I switch to LINUX do my drivers still work? Do I have to spend weeks getting everything to mesh?
