Just so you know, I believe the publishing of such an insinuation as this regarding Ted Cruz, in a presidential nominating race, raises to the level of malice aforethought if not true. And immediate filing would be quite successful, and there are thousands of lawyers who would rush to take the case.
Guess you didn't read what I posted about actual malice and how even "winning" a libel suit can be more harmful than not suing. ("Malice aforethought" is an element of common-law murder, a crime. I think you're right. I mean, if none of the affairs ever happened, then how on earth would you find 5 women who would accuse Cruz of infidelity? So if Cruz knows the story isn't true, he should assume the worst by the NE. I certainly would if I were in his shoes.
