Remember the National Enquirer going after Carson when Carson briefly started challenging Trump in the polls? “Bungling Surgeon Ben Carson Left Sponge in Patient’s Brain!” Why would the National Enquirer publish such a story?

Heidi is on a "full-time leave of absence" from her job at Goldman Sachs, and has said she is working full time on Ted's campaign, "80 hours a week" she has said. But she'll be AWOL the week before Wisconsin?
I think he would be best to LAUGH it off if he’s truly innocent. To say, “You think that *I, a devout Christian in a wonderful marriage with two beautiful daughters, would even THINK about ruining that, betraying my beliefs, by having adulterous sex? I hope we return to the issues before my June 7th primary, otherwise I will be re-registering “decline to state” or something, so I can vote for someone other than these two.
If Trump is a bad person because as Carly said he is a series philanderer then it seems a reasonable question to Cruz if he has ever cheated on his wife... but hear nothing but crickets on that question...
So where is Heidi? Says she is missing. If she truly is missing and hiding since Friday, when affair accusations came out,then I think that speaks volumes.
Campaigns and politics are about perception. And whether he committed adultery or not it looks like Cruz is handling this very ham handedly. It wouldn’t cost him anything to mention a lawsuit against the NE. And it wouldn’t cost him anything to state outright that he never cheated on Heidi. If he did cheat and the NE has evidence of it then he is toast. But by not more specifically denying the infidelities he adds more fuel to the fire. If he’s hoping for some triumphant acclimation of innocence that’s not likely. Frankly I’m not sure what Cruz is doing here but it’s only fanning the flames.
And I would support Cruz against Hitlery, adultery or not. He’s an ivy league lawyer and a parasite, but he’s not Hitlery. Much as I detest the Pubes their “We’re not as bad as the Democrats” strategy will probably work again. And it makes me ill to contemplate voting for GOP scum. But.... Hitlery. No sane person could sit it out and let that evil evil hag achieve the Presidency. I’m no historian but I think you’d be hard pressed to find a single politician in our entire history as a nation who caused more harm to this country or was dogged by more scandals or left more ruined lives in its wake.
