Throughout most of human history, leaders were decided by the sword.

This cat scratching here on FR is minor.

Have to agree with you. I think the repubs have just about destroyed their chances of winning in Nov. with all the negative railing against each other.

Heck, all the dims have to do is run repub v repub commercials and speeches to win. No need to come up with anything on their own. We’ve given them all they need.

As far as your leaving, bye.

Happens every primary cycle. In 00, 08, 12 and now 16. 04 was avoided as Bush had no primary opodition. You have to remember most people here are more passionate about their politics and worldview than most people. And some of the best dishes have some of the thinnest skin when they are on the receiving end. The forum has survived every one of them.

Pardon me, but what does JR have to do with Sundance?
Could you point that out please? Or is this just another “I can’t have my way so there moment?

Just leave, go and stay gone. Don’t be a libbylu.

Thank you and have a nice life.

buh bye

When Mark Levin became an establishment tool that should have been your first clue that something rotten smells in Denmark.

Probably all the dead bodies from the bombing last week, that somehow the perpetual neo-con wars can't put an end to (another clue something is very wrong)

FR is just a reflection of something much larger across our country. It is a fight for freedom that is not nice and smooth. It lurches and can be harsh, not unlike our beginnings. I’d rather participate in the tumultuous, lurching, and even divisive effort for freedom than the quiet, “smooth” acquiescence of entrenched, corrupt career politicians and growing tyranny lo these many years.

This happens every four years. Why don’t you grow some thicker skin and stick around?

I have toyed the idea of leaving as well but stick it out and just avoid any thread that has to do with Trump or Cruz when I can. It is like one of those shows Real Housewives of Anywhere.

I've thought of leaving, briefly.

There is almost nothing but carnage, insanity, and cult of personality hero worship here anymore. Never seen anything like it.

But, I've been here for over a decade and a half. That's too much of an investment to throw away over temporary insanity.

After the "Trump Hangover", FreeRepublic will return to normal. Some former Trump supporters will leave the site in shame, some will stick around. We'll all lick our wounds, and band back together to rail against the Hillary Clinton presidential administration.
