When Sundance replaced Mark Levin in the hearts of so many Freepers, I should have taken the hint. The site has become almost totally partisan. That partisanship is leading to such incredible, slanderous commentary that you would have to look twice to see if you are at FR or DU. We talk about a circular firing squad, and here one pops up. We are destroying our chance to move the ultra left out of the White House by trying to destroy each other.
So finally, sadly, I think it is time for me to go, I don't want to be a part of it anymore. I have mostly enjoyed my time here, it used to be a great place, and I was happy to add what little support I could to keeping it up.
To Jim: please check your mail. I sent you a request to delete my account information, but I guess you haven't seen it yet. Good luck with FR and I hope it survives this election cycle without any real bloodshed.

Cruz is in effect just a spoiler now. There’s no way he can head up a conservative revolution if that is what he truly wants (which I doubt). Instead, it’s just the destruction of Trump. That’s all his campaign is now.

I am not going to play a tit for tat. The key to winning any citizenship/A2 eligibility case is the Expatriation Act and why it is critical in regards to American sovereignty & liberty.
The Rogers v. Bellei case decision hinged on this key factor of expatriation and I posted the exact parts of the SCOTUS opinion because you said that expatriation had nothing to do with the courts decision. You were wrong.
I think that pretty much takes care of this conversation, that while Vattel and all the SCOTUS cases you posted are relevant, the law the defines citizenship as having exclusive allegiance to the US at birth and naturalization is the 1868 Expatriation Act that is codified in Title 8 of the US Code.

Sorry to disturb you but I voted Trump, and am a longtime freeper who has contributed throughout my time here. Once in person. If things here get to me I just take a break.
There are hundreds of times over the years that a post here has made me laugh to the point of tears, once this morning in fact.
This is a Great place and people who leave are surely clueless....
