Did catch a few Dr. Who episodes in the time. Was more into Are You Being Served, Waiting For God and Red Dwarf. Dr Who was OK but not a favorite. With all that is being offered just for the taking, why would anyone pay to be able to view. Technology can be a good thing :-))
I lived in Canada for a while and got to see British shows on CBC that didn't get to the states. Man About the House was much better than the US knockoff, Three's Company.
And the best TV comedy you never saw is
Clochemerle.
We watched Monty Python before it ever came to the US and loved it, but figured
the Brit sense of humor would not translate well to an American audience. Ooops.
