Blood on Roses or some other zombie book had a girl training as a midwife after the zombie apocalypse. In that world, the placenta traps the neonate zombie so it can’t do anything, and it has no teeth or ability to really bite or grip during delivery, so they often delivered still births that were little zombies.
To deal with the mother, they broke its arms so it couldn’t pull along, wrapped it up so it couldn’t crawl and would leave it in a bath tub or basin to deal with the mother. They had no teeth or jaw power, so they almost never could infect you with a bite.

Yep. What % of fertilized human eggs make it? Some places say that 50-60% of eggs don’t implant, when can they turn? What happens if they do turn?

Probably too horrible to contemplate for a TV show about the Zombie Apocalypse.
