For All Those Saying Trump Has Majority Support, Here's A Stunning Fact
Daily Wire ^ | 3/25/2016 | Hank Berrien

Donald Trump has not won a majority of the vote in any state he's won. Ted Cruz has done it twice, in Wyoming and Utah.

Trump's enormous unpopularity with the majority of voters is a telling indicator that he simply cannot win a general election. With his constant attacks on women, whether they be Megyn Kelly, Carly Fiorina, or Heidi Cruz, Trump's paltry appeal among women cripples him even further.

As expert mathematician Nate Silver pointed out on Friday, if women sour on Trump, the results of his efforts in the general election would look like this:

For all of Trump's talk of winning; he only has won consistently when he was facing a plethora of candidates. In one on one matchups with Ted Cruz or Hillary Clinton, polls show he loses.

Silver also offered a projection of how one-sided a prospective Hillary Clinton-Trump matchup would be, asserting Clinton would win 374 electoral votes and Trump would win 164.

Wyoming and Utah. Well, that's practically an electoral landslide!

Will any one of you blindly delusional Cruzbots explain to me how Cruz is supposed to win the general election when he polled less than 20% in Ohio, Florida, and Virginia in the Republican primaries?

Less than 20% in three key battleground states! Among Republicans!

I’d like to know the breakdown of the unfavorables. Such a vague term.

I think a big chunk is envy due to his wealthy and successful lifestyle.

Who in their right mind would believe anything you just said? Cruz is tougher on illegal immigration than anyone else in the race. Unlike Trump, he will not allow deported illegals to come back. He will not support any trade deals that don’t increase jobs for American workers. As for John Roberts, Cruz supported Mike Luttig for the Supreme Court. He only voted for Roberts when he became the nominee.

This article is deceptive as Wyoming was not a primary election by the all of the people, it was a few party guys. Based on Utah results what I get out of it is that if the country were made up of entirely Mormons, Cruz would have smooth sailing. The only new thing I learned recently is that Cruz has no desire to copulate with Trump according to Ted Cruz himself. Of course, Cruz could be lying about this too.

Mormons are open border/welcome immigration (legal and illegal) people...which convinces me they do not think Cruz would be tough on the border issues. You cannot compare Utah to any other state, Utah is operated by LDS church.

Sorry, but comparing Trumpers to Obama worshipers is truly ridiculous.

Obama worshipers: hate USA, hate the rich, wants free stuff, love muzzies and illegal immigrants, love degenerates, love racists, etc.

Trumpers: Love the USA, accept the rich, tired of paying for others free stuff, wants effective border control, want degenerates to leave us alone, not racists, etc.

Let’s ask ourselves this question—if the polls are accurate why the nation is so hellbent on electing Hellary?
Ooops— I just answered the question— never mind.

Trump folks seem incapable of addressing a single Trump shortcoming without an immediate reference to Cruz. Amazing.

Trump has a ceiling of 49%. He has;t beaten it in any state, with any number of candidates, and he has never had more than 47% of the delegates who have been won. He has only polled above Hillary in one or two polls in the last six months... with dozens and dozens of polls showing him losing to her.

Trump True Believers insist he will do better than the polling, but in 23 of the 30 states so far, he has done WORSE than his polling, and by some huge numbers in some cases. He has only topped the final polling by more than the margin of error in one state... out of 30... and he has come up short in many of them. Trump folks need to address these facts directly, and with more than blind faith, before he can be a credible nominee. I don't support RNC and GOPe shenanigans in a brokered convention, but if someone is available who polls above Hillary comes along, and they have actual Conservative credentials, then maybe we should move on from Trump. He simply has not shown, not once in 6 months, in 30 states, in caucii or primaries, in Liberal states and Conservative, or even in overall delegates, that he can top 49.3 % (his high-water mark... which was in MASS, where he will never beat Wildebeest). If he can't get half-plus-one anywhere, he cannot win.

But the tactics and the knee-jerk responses and blind belief in their celebrity-leader are certainly similar in nature.

Do you deny that Cruz has supported increasing H1b visas 500% and never retracting it, only saying will look into abuses?

Do you deny his side-stepping crap on TAP and TPP? Do you have any evidence he is against NAFTA?

Do you deny his machinations with the gang of 8 introducing legislation to increase green card numbers?

Do you deny his wife’s promotion of a North American Union and his silence on his own position?

He is a very smart lawyer and you and too many others are seemingly outsmarted by him.

Wrongo. Cruz beat 16 other candidates. He’s far out performed anyones projections. Trump and his followers, including many here are making it impossible for him to win in November. If Trump had decided to stop acting the fool in January just before Iowa and started acting remotely presidential instead of these idiotic attacks on everyone else, he would not see his head-to-head for November spiraling into the territory they are in now There are millions of voters who had him as a viable second choice who not only dismissed that in the primary to becoming ‘I will never vote for this jerk’. That is 100% the doing of the candidate and everyone repeating his non-sense regardless of facts.

In January, I would have placed my bet that Trump would win the general. Now, he and the core supporters are on a lonely island having angered literally everyone else in a way it’s unlikely to repair itself by November.

You Hillary supporters. . . .

And yet it is Trump who provides Hillary the best opportunity to waltz into the White House--and to send her a Democrat Congress to go with it. So maybe you Trumpbots are the real Hillary supporters. (BTW, does Hillary need a supporter?)

I was kind of worried about you for a while there, cj.

Now that GGG has dropped the colours, I guess it makes sense that "others" would have to snatch it up off the bloody field and press forward... :)

You (willfully?) ignore the point. Trump doesn't top 49.3% anywhere, ever, in any poll, or in any primary or caucus. His top numbers are all in liberal states (MASS, NV, HI, AZ, etc) and he cannot beat Hillary in those states. He loses outright to Cruz in any Conservative state outside of the Old South, even when polling ahead of Cruz just 1-2 days before the actual vote (including 3 Primaries, killing the old "Cruz only wins caucii" meme... and if the Old South went for Cruz, Trump would be done already. But, "If if's and but's were candy..." *sigh*)

Cruz changed his position on H1-B last year, as was spelled out in the legislation he and Session wrote, ‘American Workers First Act.

Cruz has said NAFTA was a disaster for American workers, he voted against TPA, and is against TPP for a whole list of reasons that he has talked about.

Even my beagle dog understands what both Cruz and Sessions did to poison the Gang of 8 Bill.

And, yes, if you look at what Heidi Cruz wrote about the North American Union, she opposed it as a breach of our sovereignty. Cruz has referred to the CFR as a nest of snakes.

By the way, Robert Haas, the President of the CFR is a Trump Chief Policy Advisor.

If women could not vote, we would have had maybe one Democrat President since Wilson.

Anyone who opposes the repeal of the 19th Amendment hates America.

Trump the Insult-Comic Dog and his followers have managed to insult and alienate the majority of Republicans, lower this race into the gutter, and turn off the vast majority of the voting public. Trump has so damaged the Republican brand that it portends a Democrat sweep across the board in November. Nice going, Donny!
