For All Those Saying Trump Has Majority Support, Here's A Stunning Fact
Daily Wire ^ | 3/25/2016 | Hank Berrien

Donald Trump has not won a majority of the vote in any state he's won. Ted Cruz has done it twice, in Wyoming and Utah.

Trump's enormous unpopularity with the majority of voters is a telling indicator that he simply cannot win a general election. With his constant attacks on women, whether they be Megyn Kelly, Carly Fiorina, or Heidi Cruz, Trump's paltry appeal among women cripples him even further.

As expert mathematician Nate Silver pointed out on Friday, if women sour on Trump, the results of his efforts in the general election would look like this:

For all of Trump's talk of winning; he only has won consistently when he was facing a plethora of candidates. In one on one matchups with Ted Cruz or Hillary Clinton, polls show he loses.

Silver also offered a projection of how one-sided a prospective Hillary Clinton-Trump matchup would be, asserting Clinton would win 374 electoral votes and Trump would win 164.

Utah, now that’s a laugh, reports of ballot box stuffing, at the last minute boxes of ballots were brought in to be counted. Utah was not a primary state, it was a caucus where GOPe can cheat.

What does it mean when you read the first lines of an article and you double over laughing yourself silly? What was the wyoming republican caucus vote count for Ted Cruz? The amazing answer? 644 votes.

This is bush league psyche-out stuff. Laughable, man - ha ha!

Cruz is tougher on illegal immigration than anyone else in the race.

Isn't there a limit to the smoke you can blow out? Ted Cruz and Glenn Beck handed out teddy bears and soccer balls to illegals at the border! That is not tougher, that is aiding and abetting criminal activity. That makes anyone a fool or an idiot for even thinking Cruz is anything but a GOP elite globalist plant. Not a word you say is worth the breath you use to say it.

Ted Cruz will deport and not let illegals back in. Trump is for touchback amnesty.

Trump folks seem incapable of addressing a single Trump shortcoming without an immediate reference to Cruz. Amazing.

Trump has a ceiling of 49%. He has;t beaten it in any state, with any number of candidates, and he has never had more than 47% of the delegates who have been won. He has only polled above Hillary in one or two polls in the last six months... with dozens and dozens of polls showing him losing to her.

Trump True Believers insist he will do better than the polling, but in 23 of the 30 states so far, he has done WORSE than his polling, and by some huge numbers in some cases. He has only topped the final polling by more than the margin of error in one state... out of 30... and he has come up short in many of them. Trump folks need to address these facts directly, and with more than blind faith, before he can be a credible nominee. I don't support RNC and GOPe shenanigans in a brokered convention, but if someone is available who polls above Hillary comes along, and they have actual Conservative credentials, then maybe we should move on from Trump. He simply has not shown, not once in 6 months, in 30 states, in caucii or primaries, in Liberal states and Conservative, or even in overall delegates, that he can top 49.3 % (his high-water mark... which was in MASS, where he will never beat Wildebeest). If he can't get half-plus-one anywhere, he cannot win.

You forgot to say, I wonder why Trump is so far ahead of Ted Cruz with no hope of catching up?

It's because Ted Cruz is a Bull Goose Loony Loser!

And furthermore, Ted Cruz was born in Canada to a foreign born parent which makes him ineligible to be President of the United States! Can you get that through your head?

Clinton/Sanders and Trump /Cruz are the worst choices I have seen in my lifetime, and I started voting in 1968.

You voted for Hubert H. Humphrey no doubt.

This idea of taking the right to vote from women makes me furious.

I am confused. Why is Cruz wanting to take away women's right to vote? Is he really that much of a paleolithic religious nut that he wants women barefoot and in the kitchen?

I am so proud of the way Trump employs women at the highest levels of his corporation, starting with his daughter Ivanka. Cruzbots can pound sand for their sexist 1950's religious views.

He has faults, just the same as all of us have.

Bull! I am eligible to become President, Ted Cruz is not.

Game, set, and match!
[why do you think little Teddy keeps losing to Trump?]

Less than two years ago Cruz stated that illegals here could not be deported but should have a path to legality.

What Trump has said is that illegals “have to go” and can get in the line like everyone else. And that anyone wanting to come to the US has to prove they can support themselves, no gov bennies.

There are plenty of warts on Trump, please find some real ones.

You really do sound like a pompous jerk! How dare you try to lecture patriots about what our nation stands for!

We are a representative democracy in the form of a republic and I have known that, ever since I became politically aware (Virginia history will do that). I have no doubt that my compatriots you deign to preach to have long known that too.

When I vote Trump, it is for a man that understands I put my trousers on just the way he does in the morning, and I care not that his are worth hundreds or thousands more than mine. Trump says he will do what I have already thought of for the past thirty or forty years.

I was one of the voters that sent Newt Gingrich to Washington year after year only to see that he had feet of clay like all the rest. I did not care at all about Newt's personal and private issues, I resent that he abandoned his sacred post when needed the most.

Donald Trump is a fighter and is not fearful of stepping into the arena! Trump would go toe-to-toe with Satan, not call him a brother as some others seem bent to do.

One thing about Trump haters is they fight evils that don’t exist. Trump is a flawed human being, why don’t they bring out his real faults. But no, it’s almost always total lies or tortured versions of what he’s said that bear no resemblance to his actual positions or statements.

You really do sound like a pompous jerk!

You sound like a Trump supporter--resorting to ad hominem attacks. especially nasty name-calling.

How dare you try to lecture patriots about what our nation stands for!

It's because my post was correct, higgmeister. I dared because I am persuaded that FR's true patriots need to get up to speed on the points I was making. I feel compelled to challenge even cranky folks like you to think more deeply about America's problems.

We are a representative democracy in the form of a republic and I have known that, ever since I became politically aware (Virginia history will do that). I have no doubt that my compatriots you deign to preach to have long known that too.

Practically all of us were taught in public schools that the United States is a representative democracy. Okay, I get that. Your mistake consists in the fact that you have not understood our Framers' position well enough--nor are you properly, fully aware of the strange historical shift in the nation's attitude toward the Constitution.

My point here is that the public school system and the popular modern political philosophers have been feeding all of us misleading nonsense dating back to the late Nineteenth Century. The Progressivist propaganda asserting the loveliness of democracy has gotten much, much worse in the Twentieth Century.

For theological and historical reasons, our Constitution's Framers--who happened to be the very best political philosophers every assembled--loathed the idea of democracy.

The modern emphasis on the idea of the U.S. as a democracy is both the cause of and the result of the resurgence of the Democratic Party--which is precisely what is ruining the United States. Even today's Republicans have become too much like vote-buying Democrats. This is precisely the sort of mess our Constitution's Framers warned us about. It is the reason why our theoretically limited government is now out of spiritual and political control--the next step of which is the kind of Socialist totalitarianism that the crooked Democrats want (and that our Framers warned us about once we drift into democracy).

The fact that we elect our government officers does not constitute us as a democracy. Ancient Rome held elections, too, but their polity could not be regarded as a democracy. Their government was republican, was a despotic rule of law.

As I said in our post, our Benevolent Despot is our Constitution, not an emperor. Apart from exacting obedience to our Constitution, we are not at all safe from the final, utter destruction of the Republic for which our wonderful flag stands. And since our Constitution has been eroded by Democrats and their RINO friends (who are loath to take non-PC steps to enforce it against insidious, evil encroachments!), we must do everything we can to preserve what is left of our Constitution--and begin rolling back the nonsense of Democrat-leaning judges who have stripped our Constitution of its original intent.

And it goes without saying that we must quit making deals with Devil Democrats. We always lose ground, in one way or another, when we make deals with these antichristian devils. They are experts in eroding our Republic in our largely spirtual war. They profess to love America, but they are pompous elitists who seduce our dumbed-down electorate because they want power, including the power to further transform (destroy) our Republic for their own egotistical reasons. Practically all Democrat officeholders commit a bizarre kind of perjury when the take their oath of office. They really do regard our Constitution as fundamentally flawed. (Obama is merely the first Democrat POTUS who has actually said this out loud in an unguarded moment.)

See http://www.whatourforefathersthought.com/DemoRep.html

This is why we needed a guy like Antonin Scalia. It is now why we need a Cruz more than a Trump.

This ain't that hard if you really understand what a Republic is. And if you understand that our Republic is a matter of absolute, inflexible supremacy of our Constitution--as it was originally framed--then you will appreciate what a real Republican is. (And considering all of the weird positions Trump has taken, you should worry that he is just a weird sort of nationalistic but opportunistic RINO.)
