I’m not there quite yet. I’m sorry. You’re a better person than me. When I think of how snotty and arrogant and pretentious he and his supporters are all wrapped up in what a GOOD man he is, “principled Conservative” and all that BS! How many of them called me names and hey, I helped put him in the Senate! All the holier than thou types who look down their noses at Trump’s three marriages while hoisting Cruz as if he was the perfect lamb of God. I understand liking Cruz at first. Hey, I was there. But he started lying, and twisting and getting sleazier and sleazier and look at his campaign staff! I’ve often said the Cruz I am seeing now is NOT the Cruz I worked so hard for to get into the Senate.
Yet with all of his shennanigans and every other person in the race (except Jeb) talking about the culture of dishonesty surrounding him, I could not accept what he was doing anymore. Boy did I hear it from the ‘perfect’ pious self-righteous types here on FR.
Amazing that anyone can still support this man for PRESIDENT!

A lot of his supporter are actually good and decent people. And they are only guilty of projecting the way they would be onto someone who played the role. This is actually sickening to see people get played.
Ill admit I can be a cynical A-hole. Maybe that’s why I have an affinity for the Donald easier than nicer freepers.
I have a feeling this is going to get big and nasty in the next few days. And for what its worth Cruzers, this isn’t a good day for any of us. And no fellow Trumpster should pretend it really is.

This entire drama from start to finish (I mean the Cruz drama) and I do think it’s near the finish for him, has been incredible. Someone should write a book about it. And his supporters have been practically enthralled as with some kind of spell. Seriously. He does have two former CIA spook/media manipulator types working for him. Maybe some people are just more susceptible to those techniques...
I’m ashamed for Cruz, but I also think he’s been utterly dishonest in the extreme since the beginning. He knows he’s not even eligible to be president.
