I just saw “The Ten Commandments” with Charlton Heston. It was in a local theater,(Cinemark) and it is the first time I have seen it on a theatre screen.

Absolutely stunning movie, one of the very best ever made.

Cecil B. DeMille would have laughed at computer-generated effects. And his The Ten Commandments holds its own against anything made today.

Or maybe he would've been elated at getting his gigantic scenes without the tremendous ass-pain and expense involved in the way it used to be done.
