There is no crime if done by the leader.
This is not a point of dishonesty against Dr. Carson. That is only possible from others.
Dr Carson stated his staff is now working with Trump so it was not really plagiarism - Trump is pushing Dr Carson’s message is what is happening. The staffer that write that op-ed for Trump is probably the same person that wrote it for Dr. Carson.
When asked about this Op-Ed, Dr Carson stated his staff is now working with Trump so it was not really plagiarism - Trump is pushing Dr Carsons message is what is happening. ...and you appear to hate Trump
Trump: We’re going to build a wall.
Other Candidate: We’re going to build a wall.
PLAGIARISM!!! /s
write=wrote
As I said, it is not possible for Trump to do anything dishonest against Dr. Carson. There is no violation here no matter what.
Or, Carson is now an advisor to Trump and he has absorbed what he deems good advice.
. Side note .
Plagiarism is not a crime by the way. It’s a civil offense requiring the offended party (original author) to take offense. Material used with permission or on advice is generally not actionable unless the source required citation.
OK, Trump can’t write for the Washington Post... if he was running for managing editor I would be very concerned.
This story is from three days ago and has been posted a few, times. I hate etc, repeat stuff,it wastes time.
Donating for years to Libs. All Business related expenses.
Changing EVERY key position in the last year. Just like Reagan.
Being profane and boorish. Telling it like it is.
Changing positions three times in one debate. Shows he can change.
The Cruz supporters sure don’t like Ben.
Reminds me of when Trump, after a debate says something like maybe they are auditing me because I am a Christian.
This is after Carson made his comments about being audited after the prayer breakfast.
It is odd, to say the least.
Did you hear about his Rick Santorum meeting before the election started? Basically, Trump was figuring out how to get the Blue Collar Conservatives. Say what we will about Trump, but he knows how to photocopy ideas.
Oh please.
The OpEd was written by the Carson campaign before he endorsed Trump I believe.
Now that he has endorsed Trump and there is a very similar OpEd.
Maybe the reporters ought to do a little more journalistic investigation and see if Carson gave his permission?
Or maybe Carson loaned him the same staffer who wrote it for him?
I am a Ted Cruz supporter, but seeing this level of attack before all the facts are even in is simply ridiculous.
Trump did not plagiarize Carson. Carson’s staff is now helping Trump.
They wrote an article and put Carson’s name on it. Later they wrote a similar article and put Trump’s name on it.
What’s the problem? One of Dr. Carson’s guys moved over to work for Trump. So he worked from the same basic research and political principles. As already speculated, likely both pieces were written by the same guy, from his notes.
THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COIN
