Ripped, stored and transferred for future play.

I like it.

Thank you and those that came before you.

And both of those concerts took place at the same venue.

The 1976 Knebworth recordings by Lynyrd Skynyrd are very good (look for the “Freebird: The Movie” soundtrack). That was the band’s big introduction to the U.K. audience - and they upstaged the Stones.

Got a link?

I posted this thread about the best live “Albums” ever produced and knew that Frampton would get top billing.

whatever,

I suppose I was looking for artists that put out “studio stuff” but could actually play it better live.

It’s rare.

I agree that “Made in Japan” is at the top of the list.

Actually, the Best “Live album ever”

I’m surprised that there are few here that recognize “The Kinks”, “One for the road”

‘Lou Reed Live’ is actually taken from the same shows with that tremendous rockin’ band and is worth tracking down. It’s not as good, but still has the same vibe. You can almost look at it as a double live album together, especially with the expanded Rock N Roll Animal.

Don’t mess with me.

I’m an old school Elvis Costello fan.

My ex-girlfriend spent hours on end downloading music from “Napster” back in the day.

She got my classic Costello songs and a hand full of “Solo Acoustic” songs that I can’t find to this day.

Skynyrd - Knebworth Festival '76

"Searching"

***************

The entire "Freebird" movie can be viewed on YouTube. It contains most of the Knebworth recordings. There are older sources as well - the concert was on VHS long before the documentary film was made.
