Sharpton to defend Obama's legacy from those who would 'disrespect him'

The Rev. Al Sharpton is already bracing for critics to try to tear down President Obama's legacy after he leaves office, but the civil rights leader is promising to lead the defense.

"The legacy of President Obama, from affordable healthcare to what he's doing on criminal justice, to even what he's done with Osama bin Laden and other things of that nature, will probably be attacked by some," he said.

As a result, he plans to help the president bolster his legacy and keep the critics at bay, both personally and with his 25-year-old National Action Network.

Nobody will disrespect him; he’s doing a good enough of earning disrespect all by hisself.

I think we should have a national holiday for 0bama. We need to do so in a way that honors the unique legacy he personally leaves in the white house and also for many Americans.

And the appropriate way to do that is by not working.

Disrespect is not nearly a strong enough word.

Two scam artists working together to pull the wool over history’s eyes. Add Jessuh Jagoff and you have a three-card monte.

If “affordable” health care is supposed to be part of that legacy, then the Current Occupant is far better served to have it repealed and replaced within a very short time after he leaves office, before all of its very worst features actually kick in and become the “new normal”.

Underfunded, overpromised, and with a peculiarly opaque exposition to the persons who were supposed to benefit from its introduction, the plan was predicated upon failure and never meant to provide any kind of equitable delivery of health care services, if it delivers any at all.

Sharpton can clearly feel not only his gravy train but his immunity from federal prosecution slipping away.

Going, going, gone...

Poor old Al, I guess he could still be Obama's 'house negro' next year.

MSNBC won't have any use for him if he doesn't have that White House access.

Would this be the Al Sharpton who owes over $4 million in taxes and hasn't even been publicly asked to pay “his fair share” by Obama? I guess we now know the going rate for a post Presidency PR man.

East to do, even for such a Moron as Sharpton.

The whole legacy can be recited in a minute-and-a-half or less.

Much less.

I for one would be in favor of FULL ERASURE of the Il Douchebag’s regime. that is to say complete repeal and rescindment of EVERY ACTION, no matter how seemingly insignificant. A complete governmental ‘Reset’ back to 19 JAN 2009. As the ServiceMaster slogan goes ‘Like It Never Even Happened’.
