If you are concerned about laws then Cruz should stay in the senate and pass them. An executive carries out foreign policy and enforces the law and makes sure the state is ship shape. The president is not a legislator.

Agreed. I still think Cruz would be a good candidate for SCOTUS. Trump is not a legislator, but he knows how to negotiate with everyone. And will ferret out the bad in legislation, and nudge bills thru so that the original intent of a bill gets done, if its a good bill, without the pork that is Legislator normal. I think its what is needed in Washington right now. That, and calling out the bad players publicly, which I think he will do if he does not see cooperation.
