For the first time since being elected, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau visited the United States. The “quite good-looking Canadian delegation” was welcomed to Washington, D.C., by President Obama and his family with a state dinner at the White House. But the event wasn’t just a first for Trudeau — Sasha and Malia Obama made their state-dinner debut as well.

I remember many times the press jumping all over Republican daughters, wives for dresses they considered too expensive. With these 2, they’ll be dubbed the new Camelot and hailed as deserving as they are Royalty.
Who remembers when Presidential daughters were considered “off limits”?

With Nancy Reagan some people accused her of keeping the clothes. I understand the complaints got so petty that she finally stopped borrowing dresses altogether.
I remember the first state dinner after the obamas ascended unto the heavens; greaseball robert gibbs said, “the white house is the people’s house once again”, as though it had been something else while george bush was president.
now, it’s apparently the house where 14 years olds wear $20,000 dresses.

The dress for Malia seems to be about as low-cut as can be, without wardrobe malfunctions. It does not seem to be appropriate for a 17-year-old, IMHO.
