I’m not defending or attacking her. It just seems this thing is garnering a lot of attention and generating a lot of anger and I’m trying to understand why. Looking at all the videos, it does look like he reaches for her and pulls her by the arm. Obviously, she wasn’t pulled or pushed to the floor. If he was responsible for security and the reporter was threatening the candidate in some way, I guess he could do what was necessary to protect the candidate. I don’t see her threatening the candidate, so he probably should not have grabbed her. Anti Trump people think it symbolizes the candidate’s supposedly violent subtext. Pro Trump people think the anti Trump crowd is blowing it out of proportion to hurt the candidate.
