“That’s called the ‘quart of blood’ technique. You do that, a quart of blood will drop out of a person’s body.”

This will be used as the excuse for continued protests that turn into race riots if Trump wins the nomination. They will make Cleveland look 100 times worse than Chicago ‘68.

Good to know we have all these Truump supporters that believe it’s fair game sucker punch people you disagree with.

If I break into your house and start screaming loudly, are you going to shake my hand and offer me a beer, or shoot me dead?

“You are traitors, rabble-rousers with no commitment to the rule of law.”

Well, paying this guy’s legal bills certainly doesn’t rise to the level of shooting someone on 5th Avenue. Anything short of that certainly broadens Trump’s appeal and makes him even more competitive in the general election, where he should easily win by at least 20 points and 40 states. /sc

The MSM will complain and find fault against Trump for everything & anything he does. They will even try to make up charges against the guy. In the end, it won’t matter because Trump is going to be our next President, and he is going to ‘Boot-the-Elites’ right through the up-rights!

I think this proves Trump will go the extra mile.

Trump speaks the Truth.

President Trump will have an outstanding Super Tuesday!

GO Trump GO!

I’m sure that there is video from different angles. I would want to look at that video. I might have done the punching if I were there with my granddaughter and the recipient was using foul language. I’d be willing to do the time. Some people just need punching. I also want to see her (was it a female, hard to tell) face. She fell but I know from watching basketball what that means and when she got up she were pretty perky.

"Bad bad move Trump. You do not want this. That sucker punch was wrong."

The sucker punch was wrong. But so was coming to a Trump rally with the intention of violating Trump Supporter's right to peacefully assemble and free speech.

Paying the legal fees doesn't mean that Trump condones the behavior. And doesn't mean the guy will get off either. But it does send a message to disrupters that Trump has his supporter's back. And maybe they should think twice before coming to a Trump rally with the intent to cause trouble.

In latest news Trump intends to press charges against as many disrupters as he can.

We have a president who won’t back down to anyone. Refreshing. Cruz is too politically correct to be president. Sticking up for terrorist families at the debate proves Cruz is weak and typical politician. These are not typical times. It’s do or die.

We've never had a definitive video-view of what happened. The enemedia makes it to be a fisted-punch right in the face. The video to me doesn't seem to support these allegations, but it's really doesn't show anything much at all.

Does anyone have a finer-point description of the blow...was it a blow, a punch, an elbow or what...and what part of the disruptor's face, chin, neck, shoulder did it land?

At any rate, Trump is being very canny here...he's intimating his money will back the old geezer...and this is going to make it tough for the punk to really want to get into any kind of charges or law suit knowing that he will be fought from here to the Supreme Court and then to St. Peter's gate if he wants to persist.

This will just encourage more sucker punches if defending yourself is cost free...

Drag their disrupter butts out on their heels and have them arrested and if they do any anything violent, press charges...

Sanders or Soros isn't paying for their defense counsel...

Trumps heart is in the right place...

Why would Trump be liable? It hardly seems fair.

A 70 year old punches a 18 year old for talking shit....I love it

Or punches a man of any age, who talks shit.

Bless the men who still have balls in this effeminate country.

And screw all the pacifists sitting on the sidelines throwing stones...
I hope these thugs beat you down.

So, a 78 year old political supporter gets carried away and throws an elbow at a protestor being detained. What charge is he facing? Misdemeanor assault?

Trump's not accepting liability. He simply stated that he was looking into it. He may very well, upon reviewing the evidence, cut this guy loose to fight this legal battle on his own. But if Trump feels that this supporter is getting railroaded with a bum rap, then he might decide to help him out.

I think it's refreshing. In similar circumstances, most candidates would just cave to political correctness by throwing their supporter to the wolves in order to satisfy the media lynch mob. Trump's going to get the facts first.

You’ve got the shoe on the wrong foot. These people are intruding and disrupting a rally which thy have no right to attend.
If you’re having party and have friends and neighbors at your house, what would you do with party crashers who attend only to create havoc, hoping to break people and things?
It is against the law to disrupt a political rally with secret service agents present.

Trump has encouraged his supporters to fight back whenever these paid mobs try to infringe on his and his supporters 1st Amendment rights and I wholeheartedly agree with him.

So do I. Enough of the wimps yelling for political correctness to rule the country.
