A political rally isn’t a government function.

No, but it is an "official" function of a person under SS protection. Don't argue with me; argue with Dr. Cecil P. Staton, interim president of Valdosta State University. Do you think he's a big Trump supporter? LOL Likely not. Read his "Message to the Valdosta State University Community" in regard's to Trump's visit:

http://www.valdosta.edu/about/news/releases/2016/03/a-message-to-the-valdosta-state-university-community.php

In response to those who were kicked out of the rally he wrote: "As we reminded the campus via email last Friday, current federal law (HR 347) does not allow for protesting of any type in an area under protection by the Secret Service."

Again, don't argue with me. This is not something that is in question or doubt. Even liberals are complaining about this law but they are not saying that it doesn't apply here. Oh, and the delicious irony is that the law was signed by BHO.

Don’t argue with me? Are you kidding. I have never read anything as condescending ever on FR, and it is in question and it is in doubt.

You might want to Google the US Attorney General’s manual for United States Attorneys on how they should handle 18USC section 1752 cases. I don’t care if you do or don’t though.
