When the disruption occurred, Trump’s instinct was to go TOWARD the source, not away from it. LEADER!

So when Reagan explained to his wife that he forgot to duck, he was not being a leader? Leaders understand that people don't like them, some even want to kill them. That protocol is not that they make themselves as big a target as possible, but to do the opposite of that, get down and let others trained to protect him do their job. Making yourself as small/low a target as possible helps them do their job.

I want a smart leader that understand the very basics of self survival. Don't you?

Reagan was using humor to console his wife, of course.

I am just saying, after watching the video several times that Trump’s instinct was to turn toward the threat, not to drop to the ground. Maybe that is what the security professionals would advise, I don’t know. But I do know the instinctive reactions of a leader when I see them.
