I watched Baretta build a factory in Accokeek, MD in one year. It went from nothing to producing Baretta 92f's in one year. BTW MD is one of most anti business regulated states in the union.

Ok - a foreign company certainly can build here. It makes perfect sense in that light as they build where the biggest market is and they don't need to worry about foreign exchange unless the USD weakens and allows them to pull back profit without tax implications (unlike US multinationals).

How do you get a US company to build here to produce a product that is no longer produced here? You can't precisely because it can never be done here as cheaply as it can is say China or Taiwan or India? The cost to the consumer would triple or worse.

If Trump's solution is to get more foreign companies to build here then sure jobs will be had but the profits are for the home country. I for one do not want to see more Asian companies build here, especially not the Chinese.
