No doubt, it’s Ted’s Secret Army working their stunning ground game.

Hey, they gotta win somewhere, right?

I didn’t watch the debate, but following along on the live thread, the consensus of Freepers is that Trump came off very presidential. Most folks on FR appear to have called it for Donald.

A lot of people make that mistake. Look closely, and you’ll see a message that indicates you’ve already voted.

“30,000 Cruz votes just vaporized off the Drudge poll. It looks like confirmation of another Cruz campaign dirty trick.”

Talk about desperation. That in itself may be a news story tomorrow. I think it’s just more confirmation that Ted is finished.

It is fairly entertaining. Cruz has now lost 72,000 votes from his high in the Drudge Poll. Cruz has gone from tied to 22% to 68%. Cruz hired a whole cabal of experts in exactly this type of media manipulation. It does look like an act of desperation. If this isn’t in the news tomorrow it ought to be.

Drudge’s poll got hacked. Some guy is bragging about it on the gateway pundit article about Chuck Norris not endorsing Cruz.

If this can be traced back to “Cruz Inc.”, he's done for.

I have a feeling it is slightly more involved than what the guy who is doing the bragging is saying. Drudge normally has a filter that prevents people from voting more than once on the same device. That restriction was somehow taken out this evening. Trump won tonight no matter how you look at it. The other candidates have adopted most of his positions to some extent or another.

Drudge just put out a tweet that all the votes came from Delaware. He didn’t say how one person got to vote so many times. I tweeted back the pic of the guy’s comment.

This caucus correlates pretty well with Cruz's fortunes in the campaign. As results approach four to one against him it doesn't look good. Just five days to what will probably be judgment day for Cruz. If Trump wins Ohio and Florida it's done.

Here's a picture of the boast by basedcruzmissile taking credit for hacking Drudge's poll.

Yep. It's pretty well understood that the gravy states are all behind Cruz, and that now, he's got a real uphill climb ahead. Couldn't come at a worse time for Ted, either, as nearly all the states after the 15th are more Trump friendly.

Based on every bit of polling I've seen over the last couple of weeks, Ted has no chance of winning either Florida or Ohio. About the best he can hope for in those states, is to come away with a half way respectable showing, not that it will do him a whole lot of good in later states that Trump will almost certainly dominate.

The prospects going forward, have got to look pretty daunting to Team Cruz. Perhaps that's why he went full kamikaze on Trump at the debate tonight. He knows the math isn't there for him to get to 1,237, so he's got to try and beat Trump some other way.

In light of all this, Ted's movement toward Bush Inc. and the RINO establishment, makes perfect sense. He's out of options, and has nowhere else to go.

Based on every bit of polling I've seen over the last couple of weeks, Ted has no chance of winning either Florida or Ohio.

My scenario is it's already too late. Cruz's only chance of beating Trump in delegates was for Kasich and Rubio to drop out immediately after their last drubbing and endorse Cruz. That might have given him a win in Ohio and/or Florida. Now Cruz's only chance of being nominated - and it's a long shot - is for Kasich to win Ohio and then for the rest of the primary season have the three losers chip away at Trump's delegate count, denying him a straight majority going into the convention. Then he makes a deal with the GOPe to be the candidate.

I doubt the GOPe will be open to any such deal. At best they might let him by Paul Ryan or Mitt Romney's VP.

I'm pretty sure that's the agreed upon strategy by the three mousketeers and the GOP-e bulls. It's all about denying Trump the magic 1,237 now, so they can try to force him out of the nomination at the convention.

To hell with the will of The People. We mean nothing to these scumbags.

Drudge poll is bogus and needs to be fixed and until then needs to be ignored, IMO

They're not even hiding it anymore. Kasich is reviving the old favorite son spoiler strategy from the smoke filled room era. They're working to thwart the will of the people. That guarantees the worst case scenario: President Hillary Clinton.

“They’re working to thwart the will of the people. That guarantees the worst case scenario: President Hillary Clinton.”

It’s becoming painfully clear to many of us, that the entrenched establishment players would rather lose to Hillary than win with Trump.

By the end of this primary (and maybe even before), every voter on our side of the aisle needs to come to grips with that sobering reality, and come together in support of the candidate with the most votes. We cannot allow the wretched scum in the establishment to choose our nominee. Again.
