Mark Levin tonight, on his newly launched LevinTV, announced his support for Ted Cruz, as the next president of the United States.
Levin, said that Cruz supports and fights for the 'Constitution, the Republic, individual sovereignty, separation of powers, the Bill of Rights, family, faith, a secure border, and our national security. '
Levin said that he knows Cruz isn't perfect, but looking at the 'whole picture' and looking at the entire career of Cruz it really is 'a simple decision.'
He went on to say that his support of Cruz isn't because of opposition to Donald Trump, John Kasich, or Marco Rubio. Instead, it is because Cruz understands ‘where this country has been and where it needs to go.’
Levin also said that if Cruz secures the GOP nomination, Cruz would win because facing Hillary he would know how to defeat her and know how to win.

I thought Mark was anti establishment. When Cruz makes a deal with Neil and Jeb Bush and Rubio does he not become part of the establishment himself?

He is the most conservative constitutionalists in the race.
But good ideas are not much if you can not get followers.
Cruz, for some reason, does not inspire followers. Or at least not enough.
I probably know a half dozen people who share his ideas of constitutional government and they would have just as much influence in DC as he does.
The country needs a leader, not a debater.
Has nothing to do with the son. If you think Mark bows to anyone else you do not know him. He has his own mind about things.
Don’t listen if you can’t take it. For me, it is my favorite part of the day.
Trump needs to be figuring out what it is the millions of Americans that support Cruz want that he's not offering.
I find it so odd how anyone on FR can be so nasty to a true conservative voice like Levin. I thought that this was a conservative website. I would guess that most Trump supporters prefer the Michael Savage brand of “conservatism”.

Shocking. Levin is another nut case just like Beck who’s been unmasked this election season. Ted keeps good company. Levin selectively chooses what he wants to believe and parrot to his listeners. Far from being “The Great One”. Just another guy who’s picked a dog in this fight and wants him to win. Levin is not going to have much of an audience left after Ted flames out. He’s pissed off just about every listener who doesnt support Cruz.
Mark has never been a slip and fall lawyer.
And he doesn’t sue people when he knows he can’t win - unlike some people.
Sorry Mark, Cruz can’t get the crossover votes for the general

I’m sure he’ll be devastated.
I have yet to meet anyone that supports Trd Cruz who is not a diehard conservative. Maybe some of you have but not me. Appeal that does not extend at all beyond the conservative base will not win the general election.
Just in time to join the establishment. The Bushes and icarly will be thrilled.
