oh they use it alright, i just don't think at 10,000' it was specifically designed for them... never seen a drone yet needed that much runway

unless like i said maybe for space drones but even then it's prolly have to be the size of the shuttle

Read what I wrote. I measured it (M to M) at 5,000 feet -- and, (as I mentioned) they also fly bizjets and twinprops in & out of there...

(As others mentioned, a mile is 5,280 feet )approximately the entire paved length -- including "chevrons"...)
