oh they use it alright, i just don't think at 10,000' it was specifically designed for them... never seen a drone yet needed that much runway
unless like i said maybe for space drones but even then it's prolly have to be the size of the shuttle

"i just don't think at 10,000' it was specifically designed for them..." Read what I wrote. I measured it (M to M) at 5,000 feet -- and, (as I mentioned) they also fly bizjets and twinprops in & out of there...
(As others mentioned, a mile is 5,280 feet )approximately the entire paved length -- including "chevrons"...)
