We worked for years fostering kittens and cats who needed extra care for the shelter. I say this to say that those who have a caring soul still feel the grief when any of their charges pass. They are like family, even if they are with us a short time. I hope they offered Kefira’s ashes to you.
So sorry, Ein. Rest assured, she felt your love. May her memories comfort you.

I feel for your loss. Take care.
That is the way to go, kittens are great and there's nothing wrong with cats that are 2 or 3 years old either.
Very sorry for your loss.
I’m very sorry your friend has gone.
Nothing proportional in loss, but I'd say sometimes even worse.
I lost my Rose, a cattle dog of 18 years. She never left my side until the morning she looked at me with an off glaze. She went into the back yard and just stood there staring off at nothing I could see. I forced her to come back in with me. She did and collapsed next to me and her eyes became fixed and unresponsive. Several spasm breaths later she had died in my company.
Breezy Dog, I am so sorry for your loss. Your Kefira will be waiting for you some day.
I’m so sorry.
I lost a longtime family dog recently.
All cats go to heaven too.
I’m Sorry. They have a way of working into your heart and there is a gaping hole when they leave. Each day will get better. Lots of hugs for Bijou.
Losing a friend is so hard. My deepest sympathy.
I’m very sorry for you loss. It just breaks your heart. May her memory be a blessing.
I know that I am in shock, physically. I did not want the last 60 seconds of Kefira’s life to be struggling to keep me from putting food in her mouth.
...
Those types of things happen to us who have had many pets. Don’t let it bother you for any length of time. It was meant to be, and you got to be with her until the end which is how she wanted it.
So sorry to hear this my FRiend.
My condolences upon the loss of your furry friend.
When you feel ready, it would be nice to adopt a new kitty...when you feel ready.
You did all the right things. Animals just have their “ways”. They know when it is time to go.
I am so saddened to hear of your loss.
Big tears for you.
So sorry to hear that, my cat that I rescued from a dog boarding kennel years ago is a female calico, she has had sporadic neural issues, i believe its called feline hyper asphatia, probably spelled wrong on my part. She basically phases out like she sees or hears things and will suddenly stary licking herself non stop, and in the last two weeks she has issues walking, like she is drunk, i changed her diet to gluten free and its helped. But I fear its going to get worse.
story was she was found living inside a garbage truck during the winter, i saw her on a craigslist lost and found and rescued her.
Much sadness for you. While it is true that her life here was good for you both and that the only condition of coming here is you have to leave, that is little enough comfort at present. But, it will be as you look back. May God give you peace and happiness as He as given her.
You have my deepest sympathy. Other than my for my parents, I’ve never wept as much about the death of any living thing than for Buddy my cat. This was over 20 years ago, and I still think about it. Best wishes to you. If you consider getting another pet, you will know if it’s the right thing for you to do.
