Sorry about that. My theory on why their lives are shorter is because they’d be lost without you. But we can understand what has happened. The sadness you feel is a better thing than the loss they would experience were the circumstances reversed.

I'm sorry to hear that. As big a strong tough guy as I am, I still cry like a baby when we have to put one of our pets down.

There are people who say animals don't go to Heaven but Jesus, Himself, said that he would return on a white horse.

I know just what you feel. My Norwegian kitty did the same. He hid in the bathtub when he had gotten worse.
He came out all sick looking and said goodbye to us.
