It sounds like a pepper spray round may have been fired.

You're trying to turn that into justification for LaVoy fleeing, as if in fear for his life.

The fact is, even if a round had been fired one of the party had exited the truck and not been shot, the people in the following truck had been peaceably taken into custody, LaVoy sat there for minutes, sticking his head out the window and imploring the LEOs to shoot him (they didn't), and fiddling with the radio.

Yet you try to make it sound like they were under fire.

It simply AMAZES me the lack of shame the leo apologists have.

A half a second after a peasant tried explaining to a local prosecuting attorney that he only shot a "non-lethal" 40mm "pepper spray round" at a law enforcement officer "to get his attention", and that it was "no big deal", the peasant would hear the sound of hammering and sawing on the gallows that was being constructed for him outside.

Do you think we all just fell off the turnip truck, semimojo? You can kill someone with a "non-lethal round", and a peasant would get prosecuted HARD for the same act.

So, yeah - they WERE under fire.

I think I'm starting to see the problem.

You appear unable to discern the difference between a sworn law officer with a valid arrest warrant and a scofflaw with a stated death wish.
