He was right handed but I cross draw so it would make sense if it was an INSIDE left pocket not outside. Don't know what they're saying but I've never seen a jacket with a low inside left pocket.
My take is that they "found" a stolen gun in his left outside pocket after they reviewed the drone video and had to make his movements, after getting shot in the left kidney, consistent with "going for a gun".
