New footage has emerged that was taken by one of the passengers in the car with LaVoy Finicum that detail his final moments during an encounter with Oregon State Police and the FBI.

Reviewed the video again this morning. As LaVoy was driving into the snowbank and before he starting exiting the truck a shot broke the back window on the driver’s side of the truck.
I think that the sniper fired trying to hit LaVoy and missed with that shot and the next one hit the top of the cab.
Back window on drivers side shot out @ 5:30 ± before they stopped!!!

Many of the comments I made today were directed to posters whose COMMENTS were made LATE LAST NIGHT.
It's lunchtime right now, maybe he went to lunch. Or to sleep.
It was in the video this thread is about. He went on to say that the BLOOD would be his.
Responding to the above question? What evidence would you possibly have that Finicum didn't have his semi-auto handgun with him when he stepped out of the vehicle? Let me guess - one of the vehicle occupants said that he left his guns at the refuge?
Funny, Georgia Beast 2, I’ve been on this website since 2000 and suddenly I’m a government agent. Please, stop drinking the crazy-train kool-aid.
Do you ever ask yourself “hey how come I’m the only bluebird on this thread?” :-)
Did you ever ask yourself why you think anyone who disagrees with you is a federal agent?
The bloodbath source is at 3:00 in the video.
He says “you want a bloodbath, it’s going to be on your hands”.
Prior to that he says, “this is gonna get real. You want my blood on your hands”. (at 1:19 in the video).
No, he said others were coming and that there would be a bloodbath.
After a pause he said either they would let him go or he would be lying there with his blood on the street, but that's obviously a new train of thought.
When someone is refusing to surrender, has stated that he would die before going to prison, repeatedly challenges the LEOs to shoot him, and says that others are coming and that there will be a bloodbath how would you want the LEOs to respond?
Do you think they should not serve the arrest warrants they have and allow someone who's obviously unstable just to drive off? I really don't understand what you expected law enforcement to do in this case.
Or is this an instance where the rule of law doesn't matter because we're sympathetic to the concerns of the accused?
What evidence would you possibly have that he did have the gun on him ?
Since he carries both the revolver on hip in a holster, and he carries the semi-auto in a side holster (as you stated and showed a picture of), why wouldn't he at least have the side holster on and the semi-auto in it ?
Just because the FBI says they found it in his pocket doesn't mean it was there. The FBI agents on scene are now being investigated for lying (about the shots fired). Why wouldn't they continue to lie ?
Why would a guy who openly carries using holsters not be wearing a holster and have the gun slipped into a pocket ? It makes no sense, given the situation he was in.
In the video, the other male says "where are the guns". I can't be sure if he meant guns stored in the vehicle, or whether he was referring to the guns being pointed at them just as they prepared to take off.
Is it possible that Finicum did not have his gun in his pocket ? That it was in the vehicle (it was allegedly a gun one of his family (son in law?) gave to him as a present). Is it possible the FBI found it in the vehicle and placed it in his pocket to help cover up for why they shot him ? Even if they just THOUGHT he was pulling a gun ?
Well bluebird what evidence do you have that a weapon was not planted on Mr. Finicum? Just because your FBI buddies told something does not necessarily make it true.
Law enforcement allowed him to leave (with the others) and it wasn't the first time they had done so. They knew where he was going and said they would not interfere. Then they did.
They didn't just suddenly decide to arrest him and chase him as he left. It was well planned ahead of time. They blocked him in, they cut off any means of communication, they were going to arrest him or shoot him. The had a roadblock set up, with snipers up the hill. They had to trim tree limbs to make sure they had open shots.
Sure, they wanted to take him in and keep him in jail for the rest of his life (just today, it came out that the protestors will be given LIFE SENTENCES) if possible. Perhaps one of the snipers had orders to 'take him out'.
Just a question, why the need for snipers ?
Again, they had arrest warrants, and the fact is that everyone who chose to do the responsible thing and surrender came out unscathed.
Does law enforcement always play nice when arresting suspects? Of course not, but that's never been an excuse for letting the accused go.
Just a question, why the need for snipers ?
I don't know for sure, but when dealing with armed protesters with an apocalyptic mindset, it seems prudent.
For all law enforcement knew both vehicles could have fled from the initial stop and had the occupants jump out with guns blazing when they encountered the roadblock.
Given the rhetoric leading up to the event the precautions they made seem completely reasonable.
This slow motion video clearly shows hands up as the window shatters. http://www.oregonlive.com/oregon-standoff/2016/03/mystery_shots_fired_at_lavoy_f.html
It clearly looks like he’s trying unsuccessfully to pull a gun. The way the gun is stuffed in his pocket in the photos they’ve released, it’s easy to see why. It appears that he stuffed it into that white cotton inner pocket, which looks like it may have been sewn into the inside of the denim jacket as a hidden carry pouch, in such a way that the gun was not easy to pull out. I can’t answer for Mr. Finicum as to why he did what he did. All I can do is say that on the video, he clearly is reaching repeatedly inside his left jacket flap or toward his left hip. It’s also invalid to say “well, he always wore a left shoulder holster, so why did he have it in his POCKET this time instead of in his shoulder holster. Maybe he didn’t feel like putting the shoulder holster on. Maybe he wanted them to think he WASN’T armed, which they might have done if they didn’t see his shoulder holster. Speculation about planted guns is just that. It doesn’t match the evidence.
As for the other male in the vehicle, when he says “where are the guns,” he’s likely referring to the guns that were found under the seat of the truck and in the floorboard. This included at least one revolver that was found at his feet as well as a tactical rifle found under the folding rear seat.
Well Georgia Retard, thankfully there’s no need to prove a negative in this country. If you have evidence of planted weapons, then you need to provide it. The police officers took photos of Mr. Finicum’s body showing the gun in his jacket pocket - a gun that he was clearly reaching for just before he was shot.
Well Bluebird “clearly reaching for” is a subjective term at best. How did your boss tell you to argue that phrase? Is it in the FBI manual? Other witnesses state Mr. Finicum did not have a weapon on him that day. So if Mr. Finicum did not have a weapon what was he “clearly reaching for”?
Watch the slow motion video linked above. It is just over a minute long.
HIS HANDS ARE CLEARLY UP IN THE AIR, IMMEDIATELY AFTER HE GOT OUT OF THE VEHICLE. THEY FIRED THE SHOT THAT BROKE THE WINDOW OF THE TRUCK AND COULD WELL HAVE KILLED THE 3 INNOCENT AMERICANS IN THE BACK SEAT, BEFORE HE EVER REACHED FOR ANYTHING.
Maybe you can hear if we are loud enough.
This is the shot heard round the world.

An emotionally gripping video - including a comparison of the words of government agents with their evil deeds during the assault on the truck carrying LaVoy, Ryan Bundy, Shawna Cox and Victoria Sharp. Plus, a message “from beyond the grave” by LaVoy.

That first shot that shattered the back window was the one I was speaking of in my post to you!
Thanks.
