It worked for you as well? I have to try this. Yeah he use to have a gut and I didn’t see him for 2 months and when I saw him again the gut was gone and he said all he did was cut out bread. I just don’t get the connection though between fat and bread, I would think cutting out meat would cut out fat more than bread but I saw it with my own eyes, he no longer had a gut.
There’s a great book out by Dr. Davis called wheat belly. It’s all about giving up wheat because what we eat now is not the same kind of wheat used to eat.
I talked to my allergist about it and they said that wheat just does that to some people and they don’t know why.
All I know is what it did for me.
The first time I tried it, I ate everything else I wanted in the way of grains, rice, oats, popcorn, etc. Wheat was the only thing I cut out.
The second time was because of this mast cell disorder where I react to food. I switched to oatmeal and was able to eat more and dropped 60 pounds in no time. My cholesterol also dropped like a rock. 100 points.
What’s nice now is that there are a LOT more wheat alternatives out there so that avoiding it will be a lot easier.
