When this was originally post over a week ago, I and several others ventured: Perhaps he has either funds still in his campaign account or some lingering debts, and thus is required by FEC regulations to “refile/renew” his election campaign fund.
I think this is the 4th or 5th thread on this topic. Hopefully the anti-Romney’s will calm down and not risk a heart attack over what is probably a Federal election requirement and nothing nefarious.
I think that in this instance, I'm going to defer to William of Ockham.
