I leave the Cruz people alone. I dislike the cruzers who are spoiling for a fight, or who are proselytizing.

I'll generally give it to them.

I am all for forgiveness.
It's very clear after today that there are only two guys left in this race.
Let's try to stick to honest differences and not the hyperbole from both sides.
Both are exciting for different reasons.
Both have gathered larger numbers than anyone before them.
Both are anti-establishment.

Lets face it, these guys are both better than the alternative.

To everyone that uses cruzbots, crubios or any alternative...

I'll forgive you if you stop the bs .

You know Cruz isn't a liar.
You know Cruz is NBC.
You know Crud is a constitutional conservative beyond anything we've seen in our lifetimes.

I understand you like the tone that Donald sets....

Please understand that we Cruz supporters love the constitution and the conservative movement more than we live the idea of killing the gop.

We are all jerks at election time. We will get over it. Life goes on even if the prospects aren’t too good!

Not a good idea. That team’s jerseys don’t fit.

I find myself agreeing. I’m thinking of the good folks I know, and imagining any of them actually wanting to be president in 2016.

I just can’t see it. It’s like our current crop decided in 1980 they eventually wanted to be president, and haven’t yet noticed what they wanted to be president of is like in 2016.

I voted for the guy I think is the best, but holy cow I just can’t see any of the big problems being solved by any of them. My guy included.

Freegards

I try to be decent about it. If we disagree, fine. I’ll try to get my points across in an intelligent manner without getting into the mud. It doesn’t matter who the candidate is, even Hillary, I still try to simply be decent about it.

I look at it this way. Even though I’m not religious, I do very firmly believe the golden rule as stated in the bible and in many of the world’s major religions, is treat other people as you would want them to treat you. I consider that to be THE most important statement in the Bible. Period. I don’t always succeed, but I try to live that way.

So...I wouldn’t want people to ridicule and belittle me, so I don’t do it to them. It’s that easy. You don’t have to be religious, it has almost nothing to do with religion at all, it’s about treating other people with the respect they wish to see, even if they don’t know the meaning of the word.

No question the GOPe is horrified that their guy Rubio went down in flames this week.

Actually, I am offended that...

I watched and heard Cruz lie.
Cruz may not be an NBC. I want the issue settled, once and for all.

He was supposed to be this shining light of honesty. He’s not.

I am offended that his faith now appears more like Elmer Gantry to me.

He enabled TPP and the Iran deal. Period.

Awhile back, I had wanted to leave this country for a bug out place somewhere. The other half won’t go. So, I’ll leave this place only six-feet under.

But we are betrayed. If the shootin’ starts, I’m there. Even if it’s some forlorn Oregon hillside. In winter.

I'm glad you brought Christianity into this. What we seem to forget is God is in control. Whoever gets elected, it will be God's man or woman, just as Obama was God's man for America. I hope we can all agree that America is under judgement now. It was bad enough when we butchered children and sold their body parts, but now we have legalized sodomy and we are subjected to watching their antics on TV, in public, and yes, even schools.

What we have to look forward to is either economic collapse, war on our shores, or disease outbreak on a Biblical scale, or even a combination of things. God will not be mocked. Leviticus 18:22-30 specifically says The land will vomit it's people out. I'm personally voting for Cruz, but I'm not naive enough to think one man will cure what ails this country.

Just look at the range of possibilities, a communist, a felon, Trump, Cruz, or Kasich. It all depends on God's judgement as to how severe America will be punished, but punished we will be.

If God chose to give us Obama, twice, you have to be shaking in your boots as to what we get next. We haven't repented yet as called for in 2nd Chronicles 7:14, so the screws will continue to be turned until we repent. God always brings His people to their knees until they cry out for Him before he intervenes. God is unchanging so we can learn from the past. If pride refuses to reveal that we are being judged as we speak, then expect more judgement no matter who gets elected. It makes me weep to see all this chatter over who can fix what, when a Christian knows good and well that God is in control and there is no plan "B". As we have seen over and over in Scripture, God uses the most unlikely people to do His will and destroy what looks like giants to us. God looks at the heart and not the outside. If you put a true Christian in office who seeks God's position on each issue, you will find he will be blessed by God in situations that seem impossible. If you judge the people by their fruits, which one looks most like a Christian and which looks like a fraud?

Well done. I intend to vote in the primaries for Trump; I also like Cruz’s plans; and if either of them proceeds to win the nomination through the primaries I will enthusiastically support that nominee.

I presume supporters of either candidate would be equally dismayed at any attempt by the GOPe to change the rules or nominate any other candidate.

As both Cruz, Trump, Carson, and others have said on several occasions, the consequences of a Sanders or a Clinton are entirely too catastrophic to allow the Ds to win.

I can’t stop anyone here from posting the bitterness that’s happened of late, but I call out all those who choose that here: take it over to DU and troll some Bern/H3ll infighting. As the ever-civil Ben Carson noted, the Dims are loading up on all our comments now to fire them back at our nominee throughout the fall (I’m paraphrasing).

In short, the hashtag should be “#neverhillary” or “#nomoreclintons (or, for the other guy, “#bernthis”), no matter our own differences.

VerySad - I promise you - the game is not over, and the real fight is inside your soul, not out in the world. You have to be a happy warrior, no matter how bad it looks - faith has very little to do with thinking you're going to win in the end, you have to let go of that. If you don't, you are guaranteed to lose, even if on the outside you win. You are not in control of the mass of deluded crazies running around the planet, or the fact that the worst of them tend to want control over people. They are doing the same thing they always have. Men have refused to give up in far worse circumstances than we find ourselves - we actually have it easy. Maybe you just don't understand that, you're not in control, it's not really your world to judge, what goes on, other than your own participation in it.

Have gratitude that you have a country for which you can still fight. Almost every other country is lost, most always have been. At least have gratitude that you can express that you are down on your country. Maybe you need the Ghost of Revolutions Past to whisk you into North Korea or Statin's Soviet nightmare for a few hours, where your sad words would have already had you tortured for a very long time, your family killed in front of you, and then you begging them to shoot you to put you out of your misery. America is still great, it's just that it's very sick and is led by bad people who have convinced a bunch of ignorant people to call for bad things while simultaneously believing they are doing the right thing. That covers just about 98% of history. It wasn't inevitable that you would have the clarity to see that, and you weren't given that clarity so that you could mourn over it.
