Donald Trump, the New York real estate mogul who has cannon-balled the 2016 Republican presidential race, incensed party elders and set off hand-ringing across the country, is enjoying a sizable lead on the eve of Louisiana's GOP primary.
The University of New Orleans found Wednesday (March 2) that 38 percent of likely Republican voters wanted to see him win the party nomination in Cleveland.
His nearest rival, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, scored 26 percent of the vote and Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., just 11 percent. Ohio Gov. John Kasich won 5 percent. The survey removed neurosurgeon Ben Carson from its list after he all but suspended his campaign in the aftermath of Super Tuesday.

UNO. My alma mater.
this was wednesday. Thursday got me nervous. Can’t wait to see today’s actual votes.
I think we’ll know after today. If thursday hurt much Trump is done - they’ll keep it up and he won’t have a majority and they’ll steal it if they need. If he survived Thursday he’s a lock - he’ll learn and they’ll keep testing crap that doesn’t work (and they’ve already used their best crap ideas on the same day - Mitt + Rubio + Kelly).
One poll that came out Thursday had Trump at 48 percent in LA. Cruz was about 23, and Rubio below the 20 percent threshold to get delegates.
Trump should do alright in LA, KY and ME, it will be much closer in KS
Another thread is showing the Cruz supporters booing Trump speakers and shouting down others who speak for other candidates. Lets see how that plays out? Will those being shouted down switch?
That’s it. My wife and I are going to vote for Cruz. The closest thing to Reagan we could find.
Trump, not so much.
