This is not an attack on David Limbaugh (got that out of the way). However, he doesn’t address things that are significant red flags to me: 1) Ted waited until 2014 to renounce his Canadian citizenship. Why? 2) Ted’s biggest backer has a $6 billion tax dispute with the IRS. What does he expect from Ted? 3) Glenn Beck is Cruz’s most visible surrogate. What does Glenn get in a Cruz administration? Do you want a president who takes advice from Glenn? 4) If Ted is such an honest man why did he tell New York donors that gay marriage was not a top 10 priority for him as president? That wasn’t his pitch in Iowa. 5) What do his billionaire donors (four of which have contributed over $35 million to his super pac’s) get in a Cruz administration?

Willful blindness to Cruz’s liabilities don’t do conservative voters any favors. Rest assured that the media and Hillary will exploit every one of these issues and more. Best that we address them now instead of papering over them.

If it's not an attack on David Limbaugh, than please tell my why did the Admin moderator move the op-ed to chat with the ridiculous topics of "Cheese", "Moose","Sister, which have absolutely nothing to do with the election, or politics. Instead of leaving it in New/Activism where I originally posted it.

On why did Ted Cruz waited until 2014 to denounce his citizenship. The reason was because he was not aware that he had a dual Citizenship as he never had to go through the Naturalization process as I did on June 12, 1977 when I became a US citizen in Junction, KS.

BTW both our son and daughter were both born in Germany seven years apart in the same US Army hospital in Germany while my husband was stationed there. My husband registered their birth with the US Consulate in Munich Germany when they were six weeks old. After register them we were issued a US Consular birth Certificate for US Citizen born overseas.

While his father might have become a Canadian Citizen when he lived there, his mother never did though, because she did not live long enough there and therefor not qualify for it.

Excellent post! Now your talking.

I don't mind Beck, he is a hero for taking on and exposing the Progressive traitors crime family. He is over emotional, but I am not electing him for president.

Dual citizenship is not illegal, it has advantages. I personally wish I had dual citizenship with Israel. However it is not appropriate for a Presidential Candidate, perhaps even against the law. So there was no reason to preform a formal renunciation of citizenship till then. I do not believe Ted ever had any passport or other trappings of Canadian citizenship, he was eligible for. You are
eligible to join the marines, that does not make you one.

As to Teds biggest donor having expectations of Ted bending the law, that may be true. But I trust in Ted Cruz's long history of upholding the law, and respect of the law. When push comes to shove, isn't integrity is the only hope in any Candidate?

And to answer your final question, (and showing a lack of willful blindness in my answers getting that out of the way), the state of the union is so dire, homosexuals perverting marriage is not one of our top ten problems. I can easily list more than ten serious issues that are dire in scope and effect. Yes, I am adamantly opposed to corrupting the family, and using child rearing tax breaks to support mental illness, but the corruption of law and justice in the land is the root of the problem. Faggotry being treated as a social class is just a symptom.

Ted was not lying, he was showing his depth of priorities.

Thank you for sharing your well thought out reservations, yours is sadly only the second post from a Trump supporter I have read to date that showed civility and contained real meat on its bones. I look forward to your future comments on Ted Cruz. All men have faults and shortcomings. I seriously want to consider them before handing the reigns to them. Hell, I have to live here too!

**************

Granted not as important but family ties.....

Why did Rafael B Cruz take until 2005 to decide to get his USA citizenship? He came to
the USA in 1957, went north to Canada where he got his Canadian citizenship and fathered
Rafael E Cruz, returned to the USA and finally decided in 2005 it was time to become an
American citizen?
