Mark Imhof, 45, who started his grooming business in October, estimates hes given on-the-house haircuts to about 50 dogs many of whom have found adoptive families.
These are dogs, Imhof told ABC News Thursday. They want to love someone and I think when they have a crusty shell on them and things like that, it makes them unable to do so. When I can clean them up, you can see [their] eyes and it makes them easier to connect. Its trying to bring these dogs to comfort, so they can become more adoptable and thats the goal.

Don’t know if that’s entirely true.
My last little girl adoption was in the medical isolation unit at the LA county shelter, they were getting ready to kill her.
They told me that between her hip dysplasia (23%) and other health problems she wasn’t worth saving.
I had to threaten to call the local papers, radio shows, and tv news before they finally agreed.
They made me sign a contract stating that I would be responsible for all her medical care and never bring her back to any public shelter before I could get her.
After several thousand dollars (no I couldn’t afford it but I spent it any way), she is now my BEAUTIFUL, LITTLE BITTY, 208 pound, BABY GIRL.
She weighed 24 pounds on her first Doctor’s visit; my little girl grew up.
Honey is a Fawn English Mastiff, and my best girl.
That just means that you are a very special person who looks beyond appearances.
Bless you for your kindness.
