They are the pea shooters in a war where abortion is nuclear bombs. If abortion is aborted as culturally acceptable once more, it will be forced into phone booths by mere issues of scale. Roe v. Wade didn’t so much create a problem as to uncover one in its full ugliness. What we know now as abortion cases used to be known as abandoned/neglected child and child abuse cases, and great progress is now being made on that front. Increase the scope of those ministries to deal pro-actively with parent issues, and abortion — the problem of hating your children so much you wish they were gone — will also dwindle.
