Oh, I dunno, I would imagine that it's a rare combat unit where women wouldn't be welcomed. Plenty of USO shows made the day for lonely GI's. My grandfather still talked about the Bob Hope show he saw in a bombed out airplane hanger, in Regensberg Germany .... 60 years later

And, on second thought, you might be right. In today's new, improved, gay-friendly military, there MIGHT be units where women aren't welcome.
