I HAVE ALWAYS DEFENDED LIFE! I defend certain aspects of an organization which has done a world of good around the world for almost one hundred years. It seems by doing so I reap the wrath of those who wish to ignore that good.

You keep repeating yourself. Yet I still haven't seen a post in this thread where you actually described what you thought PP did that was good, or how in any way that 'good' even somewhat superposes the bad they do. Nothing about what 'good' they do, that isn't available elsewhere? You have one post mentioning 'patients' and number of visits, but that doesn't say anything about services. One abortion likely has several visits before the actual abortion. Several of those visits (from a couple people I know) are just to stop by and get their pill-pack for the month, which can easily be done at other places. You haven't refuted anything about their kiddie indoctrination, which involves the homosexual/pedophiliac stuff that wagglebee posted in post 66. When a woman comes into PP looking for a mammogram, PP refers her to another clinic, as PP doesn't do those. But I bet that counts as a 'patient'.

You wish to destroy the entire organization instead of simply demanding they be defunded if they continue abortions, which Donald Trump has suggested.

Yes, many do wish that, but that's not even what the main topic of discussion (usually) is. It's about getting rid of taxpayer funding for PP. If that is going to destroy their organization, then they need to find a better business model that doesn't depend on that money so much. The FedGov has no constitutional role in giving taxpayer money for this kind of thing (not just PP, but healthcare in general). The only place this argument even makes sense is on a state-level funding discussion. The only way you can really take this to a federal level isn't really one you'll like: the idea that the Constitution protects the life and liberty of all persons isn't usually even a level of discussion that we even get to. That's how far left the conversation has moved.

Tell me why you same people don’t demand the destruction of the United Nations en toto.

Actually, most of us fully support getting the US out of the UN, but that has nothing to do with the topic of this thread, which is why no one has mentioned it. Try clicking on any of these articles, and read through the comments. I doubt you'll see much, if any, support for the UN.

Oh, and just to preempt you here, while it may not be as strong/universal, there's plenty of people here who also want to drop NATO.

“there’s plenty of people here who also want to drop NATO”

I like NATO, but we should kick out Turkey and tell the other countries if they don’t pull their weight contributing troops, ships, planes, nukes, etc, then they don’t get a seat at the table when the decisions are made. If they want to scrap their navies and aircraft carriers, they can be “silent partners”, because they are essential U.S. protectorates at this point.
