My company sells milk to Aldi’s. They sell it for a dollar less than they pay for it. It’s a loss leader for them as they make their money elsewhere
I just bought milk at Aldi’s today.Paid 1.79 a gallon.
USDA responsible?
I consume about 2~3 gallons of milk a week. Aldi saves me a bunch of money on milk.
Not a big fan of Aldi’s. Their secret appears to be that they stock mostly processed foods with long shelf life. Not a lot of fresh food to be had. But it’s a business model that obviously works for them.
