$57,000 + $25,000 does NOT equal $57,000. You did notice the 57k was for a certain number of years which did not include the 25k year.
Duncan Hunter Jr spent forever fighting to get that Marine out of Mexico applying pressure where he could over and over in congress yet not one Trump fan even notices his efforts. I did because I was a member of Hunters FB page where almost weekly he wrote about the Marine. I know Trump is a busy person, but I also know who really gave of themselves.

American Spectator did an article on those that help gain the release of Andrew Tahmooressi.
Its now September, which means Tahmooressi will have spent six months in a Mexican prison by months end essentially for missing his exit on Interstate 5. His case has gained increasing attention and outrage among the American people, as Congressmen Duncan Hunter of California and Ted Poe of Texas have proposed legislation aimed at securing his release and twenty state legislators from California hand-delivered a letter in August to Enrique Pena Nieto, Mexico's president, demanding his release when Nieto visited Sacramento to meet with Governor Jerry Brown. Tahmooressis cause has also been taken up by Ted Cruz, Rick Perry

You DO realize this article by John Noonan is a complete lie and fabrication, don't you? You must be stuck on stupid. My very first post on this thread before you responded said I believed that the group would dole out the money, that it takes a little time to do it.
Here is my exact words.
Do I personally thing Trump will dole out the money as promised? Yes, these things take time. National Review is sorta jumping the gun IMHO.
The part of the article that talks about Trump's previous donations is what I have talked about.

Yes, let us be honest. You start. Are you so envious of Trump’s wealth that it blinds you so that you fail to see his good will at all? How much has your chosen candidate donated to Veteran’s causes? What you stated above reveals you to be overly envious of those who have endeavored to build wealth. What he does with his wealth is of no concern of mine. I watched him raise $6 Mil for Vets in a single night.

Are you so envious of Trumps wealth that it blinds you so that you fail to see his good will at all? Trump's "charity" is so minimal as to be almost non-existent - based on public records available, his charitable giving amounts to about .0013%. Now it certainly is his right to give or not give as he sees fit - it is his money. But when he goes about making a huge deal about how much he cares about the veterans and how generous he is, and he makes it an issue in the campaign as a reason to support him, I think it is perfectly valid to point out the facts...

My apologies, I had to go back and wade through the juvenile postings before I saw yours. You are not exactly correct on your summation of the article, and should have qualified that it was 3 or more that either have not received a donation or declined to answered either way.
That being said I will take a wait and see approach and accept the Trump campaigns explanation.
"How can you defend that behavior?"
How is it up to me to defend other posters behavior? Do you think it's because I support Cruz? Do you take responsibility for Trump posters?

They're hopeless, Marie.
If 110% of the charities had gotten their donations, they'd be wondering where Trump "stole" the overpaid money...

It's "under review".
It's not the same thing as being pulled for a bad reason. :)
