Don’t be suckered by some claim that an antenna is “digital” or “digital ready” of any such rot. Pure snake oil, any given antenna will receive digital and analog TV signals equally well.

Several years ago, I bought an amplified antenna - it works great.

Then when we were all required to get the digital converter boxes, they just changed the labeling on the box - the amplified antenna became a Digital Antenna!

I think they saw a business opportunity - the digital signal is more ‘all or nothing’, and people who had previously tolerated a little fuzz with their rabbit ears would now get no watchable signal...and the amplified antenna fixes that problem...so the antenna addresses their ‘digital’ problem, even if its still the same old antenna they’ve sold for years.
