A financial adviser who was recently highlighted in an article in The New York Times as the only Goldman Sachs employee to contribute to Donald J. Trumps presidential campaign has been placed on administrative leave, according to people familiar with the matter.
The employee, Luke Thorburn, made two donations, totaling $534.58, to Mr. Trumps campaign in September, according to Federal Election Commission records. He also trademarked the phrase Make Christianity Great Again, according to public records.
The Times confirmed that Mr. Thorburn is associated with a website that sells hats that resemble Mr. Trumps red and blue Make America Great Again caps, replacing the word America with Christianity.
Goldman employees are allowed to pursue outside business opportunities, but they first must get clearance from the company.

He takes individual’s donations. It’s right on his website. He’ll take corporate EMPLOYEES donations. He’s pretty deceptive.
A government that is large enough to supply everything you need is large enough to take everything you have.
Rather disappointing that you would call Ted Cruz a "sleaze", when he's been one of the few in the Senate fighting for reducing spending and taxes.
Another good reason not to trust anything emanating from Michigan, y'all speak out of both sides of your mouth.
Dummy, don’t you remember that Trump says everything is up for negotiations? In other words, that is his excuse to get out of every campaign promise he has ever made. :-)
Can I use that?
What a surprise! :o/
Cruz is not only a sleaze but an arrogant harvard know it all snob
if he is POTUS he will be a mini dictator.
I just moved to northern Michigan last year. Nice job calling an entire state of the nicest people names. But then look at your candidate and his speech last night. Critical, OVERBEARING, powerdesperate.

Well bless your heart.
How’s the water up there?
We live 6 hours north of Detroit on pristine acreage between two blue ribbon trout streams. We have a private well.
Northern Michigan is paradise. We shopped hard all over the country before deciding to come here and have been celebrating our wisdom ever since.
We were able to pay cash for our bungalow with a three season porch
in the middle of beautiful pine jack forest with the most colorful
wildlife I have ever seen.
Great Lakes about an hour away in three directions. The Upper Peninsula just a tad further north. Northern Lights from the bedroom window. Amazing food and people. Small town conservatives and rifles in the grocery store on the guy next to you. Life here is heaven.
I was not pleased when I was assigned the state, because the two previous contractors working Michigan were fired, for lack of output. I dived in anyway, and lived to tell the tale. I explained Michigan to my coworkers in this way: imagine that every HOA in Texas had taxing authority. lol
