Actually dear friend, Mr Trump received 4 (that's right, four) deferments. He was eventually classified as 1-A, took his induction physical, and reclassified as 4-F (medically unfit). This was very common for the wealthy during the Vietnam years.
That said, Mr. Trump has now been given a clean bill of health by his physician.
Isn't it amazing that the absence of a military conflict could cure his medical condition.

After having Clinton and Obama as POTUSes, I can forgive Trump for not fighting in the Vietnam War. He didn't pull a Jane Fonda or march against the War like the Clintons and Bernie Sanders did. What makes Trump attractive to me, he actually did build that which none of the career politicians can claim. They have no clue how to produce, create wealth, that then can be taxed.

“Actually dear friend, Mr Trump received 4 (that’s right, four) deferments. He was eventually classified as 1-A, took his induction physical, and reclassified as 4-F (medically unfit)”
Trump’s deferments were four successive 2-S student deferments, which every college student could receive. It was the most common deferment during the Vietnam war and could be renewed as long as you were in school. Four deferments was typical.
When Trump graduated in 1968 he was reclassified 1-A, then 1-Y, where he remained until 1972. 1-Y means you are suitable for callup in a national emergency.
When Trump went through the draft lottery he received 356, high enough that short of a major war he wasn’t going to receive a notice.
