Good God, the spin you people put on this is amazing. Had Cruz been discovered to have done this you’d all over it like Hillary on a toilet seat. You know your guy was wrong on this but you’ll never admit it.

The donation was made on behalf of a celebrity who was on Trump’s TV show. The Trump foundation wrote the check, but it doesn’t reflect what Trump believes.
It does indicate that the Trump foundation was perhaps foolish to let the contestant actually pick a charity, and the celebrity in question is a jerk for taking advantage of the generosity of Trump and his foundation.
Of course, it’s entirely possible that they didn’t envision that people would be so desperate, loathsome and vile to use something like this, completely out of context, to smear Trump in the future.
If that’s the case, Trump was wrong after all.
