Trump threatens their highly lucrative human trafficking biz.
I rarely post but I must respond to this. If you are contending here that the “highly lucrative human trafficking biz” is a practice of evangelicals, I would like you to elaborate on how this is happening. If that is not what you meant, I would ask that you further explain what you did mean. A member of my family began working with young boys and girls that have been trafficked about three years ago in the city in which I live. She began an organization designed to reach out to just those people that have been or are being trafficked. It has since been connected to the local rescue mission and local law enforcement in addition to state government agencies. From her experiences shared with me and others, the only people benefitting from this practice are the people who treat others as a possession to be done with as they choose. I am an evangelical as is the family member I have mentioned. So are the mission workers and they are doing things others won’t. I certainly hope your “broad brush” description of those involved in the “highly lucrative human trafficking biz” wasn’t aimed at those I have mentioned. If it was, you are so mistaken I’m not sure that you would be able to know the truth. My family member and those at the rescue mission associated with this effort DO NOT profit from their role. Again, I hope this is not what you meant. If not, I would suggest you carefully word what you mean. If you did mean it and truly believe this to be the case for everyone involved in this type of work, this evangelical will be praying for you to see the truth. (I do not give my family member’s name as because dealing with traffickers is not particularly a safe process.)
