“lest, in penning in it in the aftermath,”

This guy sounds like a Class A, Number One, affected, pompous prick. But I don’t mean that in a bad way. ;)

If the polls are accurate, please explain to me how anyone but Trump can win the nomination? It greatly disappoints me but all his drawbacks, liberal history an current frauds mean nothing to his supporters. He’s going to win.

Run the tables or not, The Donald will approach the Republican National Convention with a very impressive total, perhaps enough for a first-ballot nomination. However it may come out, he will be in a position for serious leverage, and if this should be going to second or subsequent balloting, the best the Establishment Republicans may be able to do is force a VP selection upon The Donald.

The Donald is not going to implode at this point. The Establishment has a choice of two: Accept The Donald, or sit on their hands.

Surrender, Dorothy.

The GOPe is still licking its wounds from the loss of Jeb! from the campaign. I’m sure many thought that was a sure thing with Jeb!

I remember the run up to Jeb announcing that he was going to run. Story after story about how useless it was for any other Republican to run. All the money belonged to Jeb and the nomination was an absolute lock for Jeb. Fox news was officially annointing Jeb on most of it's programming. It was damned depressing. Thank goodness Trump got in when he did.

I wonder if the author would have penned the same article if Jeb! was in the position Trump is in now it or would he say “it’s basically over, Jeb! will be the nominee?”

Super Tuesday (AKA Trump Tuesday) isn’t the end of the nomination process—but it is the beginning of the end. It will be over on March 15th.

“THEY WANT HILARY CLINTON OVER TRUMP.”
the SS need to think long and hard , if they are willing to place themselves under yet another nightmare of subservience to HC . The military too , who do they want ? Those to whom we owe the most ( hint: it’s NOT politicians) need to have a much greater voice over whom nitwit civilians place over them . A much greater voice ....

Shamefully, Donald Trump will do well tomorrow -- perhaps very well.

So the will of most Republican voters is shameful? These elites who bash Trump are out of touch with the mainstream. Rather than fighting this, they should embrace it. It's fine that they support Cruz or Rubio, but if Trump wins the nomination, they should support him. The time has come to run a new kind of dynamic candidate like Trump rather than a squishy moderate like Rubio who probably would run an establishment race and then lose in the end as Romney did. We've tried this before and it's time to try something new.
