Cruz is part of the GOPe. He has already endorsed Rubio over Trump. There is only one candidate who is a true outsider and the one the GOPe wants to destroy even if it means destroying the GOP. If Rubio loses in FL, Romney is in the wings.

Cruz is on his way out. Except for a win in TX, Cruz goes down in flames on Super Tuesday.

Cruz is part of the GOPe.

Which is why they all like him so much they started backing Rubio (to split the non-Trump vote) when it became obvious Jeb was going nowhere past the single digits.

If Cruz was in their pocket, they'd have backed him, but it turns out they can play 'Let's Make a Deal' with Trump and Cruz is far more likely to stand on principle.

Cruz is not part of the GOPe.

Sadly, I agree with him that Rubio is better than Trump. Rubio is awful, but he is much more conservative than Trump. It stinks. I know. But, that is the fact.
